Thanks to Cecilia Gastright Hudepohl for sending us these, and who tells us “These 2 pictures were taken from my Grandma's front porch, at 3rd & McKinney looking towards the river. The left picture (with cars) has writing on the back-- 'river at 64 feet, 8 a.m., 3-6-1945, crested at 69.2 ft., 5 p.m.'” The picture on the right is earlier, c. 1920's or 30's.
