Fire in Owenton, Ky. - From one of our citizens, Mr. John C. Adkins, who was present, we learn that a fire broke out Wednesday night last in the store of Mr. Biggs, destroying the entire building and its entire contents, also the adjacent building, occupied by Mr. H. P. Montgomery as a law office. It was with much difficulty and powerful exertions that Geo. W. Wainscott's fine building, the Owenton Hotel, was saved from the destructive element. We did not learn whether or not the insured property was insured.
