The Methodist Congregation
The Methodist congregation at Walton is few in number, but a more earnest and determined little band of workers in the Cause can't be found anywhere. A year or so ago this little congregation, having no place of worship that they could call their own, concluded to make an effort to create a church edifice. . .
Last Sunday was the day appointed to dedicating the building. It was a beautiful day and an immense crowd, composed of persons from far and near, was present, and listened to a very able dedicatory sermon by Rev. Taylor, of Covington. The attendance was estimated at from 1,500 to 2,000, all of whom were fed out of the abundance of provisions that were on the grounds.
