Prominent Farmer Drops Dead

Petersburg, Ky., Sept, 11 - Daniel M. Hewitt, one of the most prominent farmers in Boone county, dropped dead of heart disease at his home, near here. He was in the confederate army under Gen. John Hunt Morgan, and was with Morgan when captured, but made his escape.
