Walton, Ky., Feb. 3, - The Walton Deposit Bank was blown up by three burglars about 3 o'clock this morning, but it is not known with what success. Thieves entered through the front door, drilled two holes in the bank vault, and exploded a heavy charge of dynamite badly damaging the vault and the building. When the bank officers arrived at the bank they found the vault door closed and cannot open it until and expert arrives from Cincinnati. The officials fear the men got all the money and closed the doors. The thieves stole a team and buggy and at 4:25 a.m. passed a toll gate north of the town and were evidently bound for Cincinnati.
