Mob Law

Maysville, Nov. 1. - John Ware, charged with killing one Michael in Owen county, two years ago, and, who was released by friends from the jail in Brookville [sic] in Bracken county on Saturday night, is in Ripley, Ohio. A gentleman who is here today from that place saw him last night, and talked with him. Ware says he was justified in killing Michael, and is not afraid of the results of the courts. He went about the streets of Ripley openly, and seemed indifferent about his whereabouts being known.
