James W. Lytle
James W. Lytle was born in West Union, O., in 1863, and there was reared until ten years old. Then the family went to a farm in Brown county, and after some years to Hillsboro. Here. Mr. Lytle engaged in the grocery trade as a member of the firm of Lylte and Sons. Afterward he went for a year to Indiana, where he married. Returning to Ohio, he was in the clothing business in Washington C. H. and Columbus, and finally in Cincinnati, where he has been connected with the Globe clothing house since its establishment. Two years ago he came to Dayton and bought his residence on Second avenue. He has one son. Mr. Lytle has been prominently identified with labor organizations. In Columbus he was President of the Retail Clerk's Association and is now vice-president of the Cincinnati Assembly. He is active and energetic in politics as well as in business, has an extensive acquaintance of hosts and friends - one of the rising young men of the town. Finally, he is for Dayton, first, last and all the time.
