Catholic Church Difficulty
A difficulty having arisen between the Trustees of the Catholic Church in Newport, Kentucky, and the Bishop, growing out of the latter having erected a school-house on a church lot without the consent of the former, The Trustees applied for an injunction, which was to-day granted by the Court. The Judge decided that although the Bishop had a right to appoint the Trustees for the Church, he had no right to use the ground for other than church purposes.
