The Altamont Water Tower

Jeff Parsell sent me this image, and this information:

“It's from the catalog of the Hauser-Stander Tank Co., of Cincinnati, Ohio. The name of the catalog is "Wooden Tanks for Every Purpose" (circa. 1929). Unsure of  the date when the picture was taken. Stephan Hauser Sr. owned the Hauser-Stander Tank Co. and manufactured these tanks. The Hauser-Stander Tank Co did not manufacture metal tanks. Wood tanks made from good material, will outlast steel tanks. They used Red Gulf Cypress (The Wood Eternal). The Hauser-Stander Tank Co. slogan 'We Win With Quality.'”

Jeff also tells me it's the only three-tank water tower he's ever seen. Thanks, Jeff.
