“As you can see, the lane was not paved. We were getting a lot of deliveries and mail for Maple in Highland Heights and Newport. My father asked the city for a name change. The city said to have a petition signed by the residents. So my grandparents and parents signed and requested the name change. It was changed to my nickname. Unfortunately, since 1957, there have been additional Bonnie Lanes!”
