The photo you see was taken by Frank G. Sheppard, a reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, who worked at 406 Scott Street in Covington and lived in Newport.  A drawing, made from this photo appeared in the Enquirer on March 21, 1897, the day after the hanging of Jackson and Walling
