One of the best conducted houses in this city is the one here mentioned.  The premises occupied are spacious, finely fit up, and a large and complete stock is always carried, while efficient clerks are in attendance.  The assortment of goods here displayed includes hardware, English and American cutlery, and guns, rifles and revolvers, and firearms generally, of the latest improved and best makes, and ammunition.  The now popular house was established in 1887 by W. F. Miller & Co, but since 1889 has been under the control of Mr. Miller.  The trade is steadily growing and increasing in volume each succeeding year, and Mr. Miller deserves the success which has rewarded his well directed efforts.  He can always offer the very best possible inducements to buyers and render the best satisfaction.  He is a native of Newport, an upright and honorable gentleman, and enjoys the esteem and confidence of the whole community.
