Missing Priest

At Newport, Kentucky, from facts of recent development, it appears that the priest officiating in St. Stephen's (Roman Catholic) Church on Saratoga street has for some months past been on terms of criminal intimacy with a married woman, Mrs. Fry, who is quite attractive personally. Mrs. Fry and he husband have not lived together for the last eighteen months, and she has now become a mother, she alleges, by the priest. The truth or falsity of this statement cannot at present be determined, as the priest cannot be found. A warrant, however, has been issued for his arrest at the insistence of the woman's husband, who is about to bring an action for damages, and has also made application for divorce.
