Carroll Banks

America has a two tier system of banking organizations ( more clear and distinct in early and mid 20th century than the present): State Banks and National Banks. State banks are examined by the state, the National Banks by the Comptroller of the Currency. Carroll County had two national banks in 1911, both in Carrollton. You can find their numbers on this page. The state bank numbers above are from 1910.
