Buried Treasure?
In his 1973 book, Lost, Buried, and Sunken Treasures of the Mid-West, Michael Paul Henson writes the paragraph that follows. We have no idea of his source, nor its validity. It's quoted here in its entirety:
“Three miles above Carrollton, Kentucky, on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River, a flatboat load of tools and guns were hidden in the 1780's by settlers coming down the Ohio River. This has never been found.”
