New Paper

We are in receipt of a copy of the Carroll County Republican, a new paper published at Carrollton, Ky., and edited by Mr. W. W. Masterson, an able and polished writer.  The paper is well gotten up and seems to be prosperous.  We welcome it on our exchange list and wish it all success.

Mr. Masterson is the son of Judge Richard Masterson, of Carroll county, and was appointed a consul by President Cleveland.

Associated with Mr. Masterson, in charge of the publishing department, is Mr. Ed Delane, formerly connected with the Carrollton Democrat.  A better printer than Ed Delane never handled a composing stick, and the two make a good pair to draw to.
