Excursions
Sanders., Ky., August 15, - Excursions were run from Cincinnati and Louisville to-day to the Tricounty Fair of Owen, Gallatin and Carroll Counties. Between 5,000 and 10,000 persons were on the grounds by noon, and when the wives and mothers spread their table linen on the turf it represented a happy intermingling with Kentucky hospitality. It was voted the best fair since its incorporation eight years ago. The show ring and trials were good, considering it is a county fair. The latter were closed and exciting. The association is giving away $5,000 in premiums. Pleased over the fair in its entirety and because the rain that means to much to the farmers, all are happy. The fair closes tomorrow.
