Rain of Rifle Bullets
Drives Negro Strike Breakers Off Section Jobs
Worthville, Ky., August 4. - Negro strike breakers, who had taken the places of section men on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, between LaGrange and Cincinnati, were fired upon yesterday by strikers.
Armed with rifles, the strikers lined the nearby hills and rained bullets around the workers.
The negroes held a hurried consultation and fled.
