Nate Williams
Nate Williams, one of John Morgan's men, and supposed to be implicated in the Carrollton (Ky) bank robbery, was arrested in St. Louis and taken to Louisville Wednesday last for trial. He has been going under the assumed name of Wm. Masterson.
That is a heavy joke on our old friend Masterson, formerly route agent on the Terre Haute, Alton and St. Louis Railroad, and now warden of one of the city prisons of St. Louis. He is a very handsome Irishman, and a good patriot, and Nate Williamson ought to be “modified” for trying to steal his name.
