Constable Districts
A majority of all Justices being present established the constable districts as follows:
Dist.#1 Begin on Ohio R. where the county line strikes it, then up & with ferry road to Wm. Gray’s then on a direct line to the Corn creek Academy, then on a direct line to Strother’s Mill on Corn Creek, thence down the s the county line, then with the same to the beginning on the Ohio River.
Dist #2. Beginning on the Ohio and running thence up and with the Ohio to the mouth of Little Ky. River, thence up and with the same to the County line, thence with the same to Dist. #1 and with the same to the beginning.
Dist No 3. Beginning at the mouth of Little Ky river and running thence up the Ohio and with the same to the mouth of McCool’s Cr., thence up and with the same to the forks thereof at Wm. O’Neal’s, thence up the South Fork along the road to the Whites Run Meeting House, thence with the road from Port Wm. to Spencer’s Lick on Eagle Cr., thence down the creek to the mouth thereof, thence up and with the Ky. R. to the County line, thence with the same to the Little Ky. River and down same to the beginning.
Dist. No 4. Beginning at the mouth of McCool’s Cr., thence up and with the Ohio to the mouth of Craig’s cr. Thence up and with the same to Moses Ray’s old place, thence down Moses Ray’s branch to Eagle Cr., then down same to Spencer’s Lick, thence with the line of district #3 to the beginning. Dist. #5. Begin at the mouth of Craig’s Cr. and running up and with the Ohio R. to the county line, thence with said line to Eagle Cr., thence down same to line of district #4, thence with the same to the beginning. Dist. #6. Beginning at the upper side of Eagle Cr. At the mouth thereof & running thence up and with the same to Sanders’ old Mills, thence with the road to New Liberty, thence thru the office of Ruben Adams on a straight line to Kemper’s Mill, thence with the Wymore’s road to the county line, thence with the same to the Ky. R. thence down same to the beginning. Dist. #7. To include all that part of this County lying on the upper side of Eagle Cr. Not included in district #6.
