Jan. 29.  The long wished-for bridge is at last completed.  Nothing now remains to be done but to make the approaches on each side, which jobs will be let out to the lowest bidder.  The election passed off very quietly, Saturday.  The result was that the school tax was voted in.  There is a constant demand for more houses in our town.  Each week some one here is trying to rent a house, but unluckily there is none vacant.  If some enterprising men would build a number of cottages, they would have no trouble to rent them at a good price.
