Mr. Boone Bradley opened this building as a movie show house, by remodeling “the old skating rink,” with “the latest equipment in talkies.”

The first movie shown was on October 18, 1934, and was called Racetrack, a James Cruze comedy, followed by The Man from Hell's Edge, on October 20th, followed by It Happened One Night on October 21.

Movies were shown Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday evenings, with matinee's on Saturday and Sunday.
