At the Circuit Court at Burlington, Jos. F. Draysdale, of Crittenden, got a verdict of $500 and costs against Grant county on account of the construction of the Downingsville Bridge.  The costs amount to some $2000.  This judgment vindicates Mr. DeCoursey, the engineer of the work, as well as Mr. Draysdale, against whom serious charges were made at the time the misunderstanding occurred between them and the officials of the county.
