Nearly Every One in Village Being Summoned in Murder Trial

Williamstown, Ky., February 8. - A special venire [i.e. jury pool] of 100 men arrived here from Boone county this morning. It was necessary to examine 57 before a jury was selected to try John M. Webster on a charge of murder. The case is creating much interest throughout this county. The neighborhood of Elliston, where the crime was committed, is almost depopulated, every one in the community having been summoned as a witness.
