This little village is situated on the Covington and Lexington Turnpike and C.S.R.R.  It has two dry goods stores, two blacksmith shops, one millinery and dressmaking shop, one school, one pair of Fairbanks and a depot.  Luckily for its inhabitants, no bar room.  L. N. Price is carrying on a very extensive trade here in the dry goods business.  Miss Lizzie McGuire and Miss Annie Cason are contemplating a visit to Crittenden soon, but I would remind them that this is not a Leapyear.
