Located at the present-day location of the current church, this building was built in 1867, with the stained glass windows and bell-tower being added in 1910. In 1923, the church was removed and the current church building was constructed at the cost of $30,000. The basement of the church was dug with a pick and shovel and the dirt was removed using a horse-drawn scraper. When the pictured church being torn down, the stained glass windows were sold to individuals at a cost of $50-$100 each.
