The annual outing of the Cincinnati Shoe and Leather Club was postponed from Saturday, June 24, to Saturday, July 8, on account of the big preparedness parade which is scheduled for that day.  All shoe and leather concerns will be represented in the parade.  The outing, which is the biggest event of the year for the local Shoe and Leather Club, will be held at Colonel Thomas Cody's beautiful blue grass farm near Erlanger, Kentucky.  Cody is noted far and wide for the excellence of his burgoo and juleps, typical Kentucky concoctions, and the fried spring chickens.  The Shoe and Leather club members are anticipating a great time on the 8th.
