The Coppin Mansion

I lived at 2735 Indiana Ave in the early 50's. It was located at the very rear of the new 9th district school on the lake. It was 150' south of what is now the center line of Iowa at 28th St. The architect was Dan Seger. The Indiana Ave house is still there. Both houses have a turret on the left as does the Egolf Winkler mansion and the Kruse mansion. They all look like Seger houses. I played in the hollow which supplanted the lake. The hollow never extended much beyond 30th. to the south.
