Feud Indictments Dismissed
The case of the Commonwealth of Kentucky against Martin, Edward, Ben, and Frank Michaels and John Riggler, indicted for the killing of Jones McGraw in a pitched battle, near Erlanger, Ky., several years ago, the result of a feud between the families of Martin Michaels and John Watson, was called in Circuit Court yesterday. Attorney Lassing, representing the defendants, demurred to the indictments, which was sustained and the indictments dismissed. It will be remembered that McGraw belonged to the Watson faction and Joe Michaels was killed on the opposite side.
Mrs. Fannie Watson was tried some months ago for the killing of Joe Michaels and was acquitted. The dismissing of the above indictments will very likely end the differences between the two families.
