Company D, 9th Infantry. For extraordinary heroism in action near Medeah Ferme, France, October 3, 1918. All of his supervisors having been killed by a nest of machine guns, Corporal Morgan took command of his platoon and, in an extremely difficult attack, wiped out a nest of five machine guns. Home address, W.
