Ken Shell

We got a call one night from Ken Shell.  Ken is a long-time L&N employee(who grew up near here) who thoughtfully shared a lot of the information in the captions on the L&N pictures on Northern Kentucky Views.

He remembers the day this plane landing in the DeCoursey Yards, and thinks that may be him and his brother in the picture.  There was relatively minor damage to the plane, even tho it landed in a railroad yard.  It was fixed and took off from the yard,

But it seems he and his brother have, for 68 years, had trouble getting people to believe their story about the day an airplane landed and took off from Decoursey Yards.
