Pralines

2 cups of brown sugar
1 cup cream
2 cups pecan nut meats (halves)

Mix sugar and cream.  Cook until a few drops poured in cold water forms a soft ball, or 236 degrees F.  Add nuts.  Stir until it begins to sugar, pout out on buttered pan.  When cool break into small pieces with 1 or 2 pecan halves in each cluster.
