Smoky Row
Smoky Row, Kenton County. It may be of some interest to the readers of The Commonwealth to know where Smoky Row is situated. It is situated between the waters of Cruise’s Creek, on the south, and Bowman on the north, Licking River on the east, and Independence on the west. It consists of three tobacco warehouses, two blacksmith shops, one wood workman’s shop, three groceries, one flouring mill, one Grange and Good Templars’ Hall, two schools, one church and about five hundred inhabitants.
