The Alice Brown

Built in Pittsburg in 1871, the Alice Brown was a steam towboat At different periods in her service, she ran between Cairo, Illinois and New Orleans, and earlier ran regularly from Pittsburgh to New Orleans. 

Her years of service were 1871 - 1919. In 1919 she was parted-out near Pittsburgh, although her hull served briefly as a wharf boat in Martin's Ferry, Ohio.
