Man Drowned
On Saturday evening, December 18, a man was discovered floating on the Kentucky River, just below Dam #3. He was sitting on the bottom of a little flat boat, and had passed safely over the Dam; but a short distance below, the boat was drawn under, supposed to be by the chain or rope catching on something o the bottom of the river., and the manb disappeared. He did not rise to the surface again. He was not known to any of those who saw him on the boat and it is supposed that he came from some distance up the river. From his actions he was thought to be crazy. If such a man is missing, Mr. C. P. Sanders, residing near the dam, can give full particulars.
