Buggy Shop

In Falmouth, about 1913 perhaps. My family's buggy shop. In the background are Robert W. Lemmon, my great grandfather, and his son, Charles W. Lemmon. They went on to run the R.W. Lemmon and Son Chrysler Plymouth Dealership for years in Falmouth at 4th and Montjoy streets. In the foreground is R.W.'s father, John W. Lemmon, known as "The Marrying Parson". He was a Union Civil War Veteran, former blacksmith, and circuit preacher to the rural areas of Pendleton County.
