Masonic Lodge

This Lodge was built by my great grandpa’s brother Odious Thomas “Tom” McMillian. He moved to DeMossville from Unity/Gardnersville around 1917. Built this building, the post office, his own house and homes for a son and 2 daughters. Tom lived in the town until his death in 1949. Was active in the Masonic Lodge. Everything the McMillian family built was done by the sign of the moon to ensure foundation would not sink. I’ve never seen anything they built, sink or lean, in any way and lasted!
