Distilleries Sold

The Kentucky Distilleries and Warehouse Company has closed the deal for the purchase of the distilling properties of Freiberg & Workum at Petersburg, Ky., and of Elias Block &Sons at Prestonville, Ky. The negotiations were concluded in New York, as already detailed in the Enquirer, and Attorney A. S. Austrian, representing the combine, came on the close the deal up. This was done yesterday, and checks were given to the two concerns for their respective properties. The price paid for the Freiberg & Workum plant was $500,000, and that for the Block distillery $300,000.
