The Rev. Thomas Campbell had a seminary in Burlington in 1808, but otherwise these men never lived in Northern Kentucky. Rather, they started the Protestant Restoration (Wikipedia). In an era when people had theological reasons for which church they attended, the teachings of these men would cause upheaval in many a Northern Kentucky Churches.
